What is the DPDP Act?
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 is India's law governing the processing of digital personal data. It applies to the processing of personal data within India, and gives individuals ("Data Principals") specific rights over how organisations ("Data Fiduciaries") handle their data.
Keystone Tutoring complies with the DPDP Act and respects your data protection rights.
Your Rights as a Data Principal
Right to Access
You can request a summary of the personal data we hold about you and the processing activities carried out on it.
Right to Correction and Erasure
You can request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, or request erasure of data that is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected.
Right to Grievance Redressal
You have the right to a readily available means of registering a grievance about how we process your personal data.
Right to Nominate
You can nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
Right to Withdraw Consent
Where we rely on your consent to process your data, you can withdraw that consent at any time, as easily as you gave it.

Initial Acknowledgment
We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 2 business days.
Verification
We may request additional information to verify your identity and ensure we're processing the correct data.
Fulfillment
We will fulfill your request within the timeline prescribed under the DPDP Act and its rules, or provide an explanation if we need additional time.
Our Basis for Processing
We process your personal data based on:
- Consent: When you explicitly agree to receive communications or use certain features
- Legitimate Uses: As permitted under the DPDP Act, such as for functions the law requires or that you would reasonably expect
- Legal Obligation: When required by applicable Indian law or regulation
- Contract: When you purchase products or services from us
